NEW MEMBERS who believe they are accomplished pilots must have their MAAC wings and must be checked out by an approved MMFC instructor before flying on their own. If approved, they will be issued a MMFC pilot card and full flying privileges. PAYMENT OF FEES: Cheques or money orders must be payable to The Mississauga Model Flying Club. ACCEPTANCE OF NON-MISSISSAUGA RESIDENTS will be at the discretion of the Executive. MAAC MEMBERSHIP is a mandatory prerequisite for Flying at MMFC. No MMFC membership card will be issued to Pilots without proof of valid MAAC. You must join MAAC first. DISPLAY YOUR MMFC AND MAAC MEMBERSHIP CARDS ON YOUR FLIGHT BOX OR TRANSMITTER AT ALL TIMES.
WAIVER
I acknowledge that I will use the property and facilities arranged for me by MMFC at my own risk. I hereby hold harmless MMFC, its executive and the owners of any such property and facilities from any suit, cause, action or claim resulting from my use of such property or facility. If I have indicated that I am a student, I hereby request that the MMFC provide me with instruction in the flying of radio controlled model aircraft. I understand that volunteer instructors who are skilled model pilots, will operate my model as safely and responsibly as possible, and will provide instruction without charge. I agree to hold the MMFC, its officers, directors and instructors blameless in the event of any accidents involving damage or loss of models or property, personal injury, or loss of life resulting from the operation of my model aircraft. Regardless of whether said aircraft was under the control of an instructor, or myself at the time of the accident. MMFC acknowledges that this waiver does not affect the applicant's right or benefits under any insurance that is provided by MAAC or the applicant. I hereby apply for membership in the Mississauga Model Flying Club Inc. (MMFC) and will abide by the rules and regulations that have been established by the MMFC.
